Last year she was a finalist in Susanna Hill’s Halloweenie PB Writing Contest and an honourable mention for BirthdayBirthday PB Writing Contest.

Nicole has a BA in Art History from the University of Victoria and continued to develop her artistic talents at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design. She is a mother of three and lives with her children, husband and dog in North Vancouver.

Both Reed and Nicole are members of the SCBWI.
